Everyone chases something. This is what happens when they get.

Have a taste of what’s to come in Endless: The Chase through the character art, and first good look at the book’s cover art and synopsis:

What Lies at the Edge of a Dead End?

It’s been 80 years since Endless has seen Earth. 80 years spent alone soaring through the cosmos, 80 years spent running from the horrors it showed him. The embodiment of eternity itself is tired beyond renewal. Then finally, Earth within his sights.

But he can’t bring himself to meet it. He bested an impossible labyrinth just to get to the view in front of him all for the sake of seeing the family he abandoned for adventure a lifetime ago. And still, his body refuses him the catharsis of letting him touch his home soil. He’s too weary. Too weathered. The thought of not finding those loved ones alive on Earth paralyzes him.

He wishes life hadn’t turned out this way. Every trauma he carries is because of the damn humanity he gave up to become the living concept he is. He wishes he could take it back. He wishes for death- an escape from the perpetual strife of his eternal youth.

And like lightning, The Spark responds. The Spark which can give him everything he wants. As it washes over him, Endless feels the insurmountable weight of eternity draining from his skin. Like a falling star, he crashes to Earth, once more human.

Enter Kavi Glitch! Inventor and the biggest loser on Earth. Abandoned to a life of orphanhood, she yearns for connection, and more still, the kind of revolutionary acclaim to stand amongst the annals of history, never forgotten. So when she sees an embodiment falling from the sky, she knows she has to be the first to reach him.

Endless lacks hope. Kavi lacks acknowledgement. Perhaps together the girl will find what lies within, and the boy will rediscover what it means to live.

Everyone chases something. This is what happens when they get it.
