It all started at a good mate’s place. We were painting. I’ve always been an abstract painter. Don’t have the realist’s touch.

So I decided I’d paint my front-cover the only way I knew how; by illustrating one of the worlds within. Lexicon’s home. The Wordscape. What started as a simple silhouette became a fully achievable idea with the help of the artist I reached.

Style was important for the cover. Embodiments are concepts, but all the same each concept carries it’s own geist. See if you can spot some details across the progress of this piece.
